Mirror Lake is located in the picturesque Adirondack village of Lake Placid, NY, which often prompts visitors to mistake it for the village’s namesake lake. This free summer concert series is held Tuesday evenings at Mid’s Park Bandshell on Mirror Lake. Bring a blanket for the terraced lawn or enjoy the music from your canoe, kayak or SUP.

Mirror Lake freezes in the winter, offering a variety of traditional ice sports and recreation, as well as a few truly unique activities.

Slide down the toboggan chute, a 30-foot high converted ski jump trestle located at the south end of Mirror Lake that provides toboggan rentals and multiple runs for a nominal fee.

Glide across snow-covered Mirror Lake pulled by a dog sled. Depending on ice conditions, two dog sled teams can be found on Mirror Lake behind the Golden Arrow Resort and the Players Sports Bar.
